Serious question, handling wrist strain from decades of micro soldering.

Yeah that glare thing is real. I started wearing a baseball cap low to block overhead lights and it fixed my whole stance.

A comment at the library made me reconsider AI in education

My cousin's school district in Ohio just gave every kid a tablet, but half the families can't pay for home internet. They get to watch their classmates do the fancy digital projects while they're stuck with a paper worksheet from 2003. It's like setting up a free buffet but only letting in the people who already ate. We're basically building two separate school systems right in front of everyone and calling it progress.

That viral meme ban last week wasn't all bad.

Wow, I used to hate rules but that separate channel idea actually sounds smart lol.

Serious question, is the 'rustic chic' bouquet trend actually over?

My cousin's 2008 bridesmaid dresses were that shiny satin, ericp67, I feel your pain. Looking at those photos now is a special kind of cringe. We all signed up for a look that did not age well lol.

Watched a pitmaster go from good to great in one competition season

My uncle swears his ribs only got good when he stopped using hickory and tried cherry wood for a lighter smoke. It's funny how a small change in your basic materials can unlock a whole new level, like @the_ivan pointed out with the oak switch. You see it everywhere, like when a baker finds the exact right flour or a painter tries a new brush. Why do we stick with the same stuff for years before trying the simple swap right in front of us?
