Rant: I wasted years cooking a fresh dinner every single night before I figured out Sunday batch cooking
I used to spend 45 minutes cooking dinner after work 5 nights a week, now I make one big pot of chili or a tray of chicken and veggies on Sunday and eat off it till Wednesday, saves me about 3 hours and $60 a week on takeout. What's your go to big batch meal that actually tastes good on day two?
Wondering if 45 minutes a night is really the problem here, since most people I know just make extra and eat leftovers without calling it a system. The savings claim seems off too, since $60 a week on takeout means you were ordering out a lot more than cooking at home. Do whatever works for you, but this sounds like less of a life hack and more of just eating leftovers.
