I used to hate makeup removers with oil, now I get it after one bad night
I've been doing lashes and full glam for about 5 years now, mostly wedding stuff here in Tucson. I always told my clients to avoid oil based removers because I thought they broke down lash glue too fast. Then last month I did a 6 hour shoot with a model who wore heavy glitter shadow and waterproof liner. I tried my usual micellar water and cotton pads, took me 20 minutes and left her eye area red and raw. She handed me this little bottle of oil cleanser from her bag, I was skeptical but desperate. That stuff melted everything off in like 90 seconds, no tugging at all. I looked up the science after that, oil actually binds to the same stuff in waterproof makeup, so it's not about weakening glue, it's about dissolving the product. Now I keep a small bottle at my station for emergency removals, what oil based products do you guys swear by that don't mess with extensions?

Same thing happened to me last month. Total game changer, honestly.
