Reached 500 tower crane picks without a single incident today
I hit my 500th pick this morning on a high-rise in Seattle, and my foreman tossed me a gift card for a good safety record. Honestly I didn't even realize I was that close to the milestone until they called it out on the radio. Anyone else track their pick count or keep a personal log for something like this?

My last crane pick was a bucket of coffee for the crew, almost dropped it on the foreman's truck.

Ha! Classic crane operator move. Fancy way to say "coffee run" but way more stressful. @patricia_wells glad you kept the bucket steady enough not to ruin the foreman's day AND his truck. That would have been one expensive wake up call.

Bet the foreman needs to start leaving a tip jar on the truck cab if you're gonna keep risking the paint job for java.
