Thought wireless load indicators were a gimmick until last week
Picked up a remote display load cell on a whim for a job at a refinery near Baton Rouge. Saved me 20 minutes of running back and forth to the ground guy per lift. Anyone else convert to wireless gear after swearing it off?

My buddy runs a small crane outfit in south Louisiana and he rigged one of those wireless units to a spreader bar for picking pipe bundles. Cut his crew from three guys down to two on most jobs.

That thing about cutting from three guys down to two really hits home for me @olivers28. It's like everywhere you look, people are finding ways to do more with less. I swear, the last few years I've noticed this same pattern at the grocery store, at the hardware store, even at the damn bank. Self checkouts replaced three cashiers, those little robot vacuums mean one person might clean a whole warehouse floor instead of a team. It feels like every industry is quietly stripping away people one by one. And yeah, I get it, it's efficient and saves money. But you gotta wonder where all those extra guys are supposed to go when every job is getting the same treatment.
