The writing prompt site I used for five years just got a weird new owner

I logged in last month and the whole vibe changed from creative to corporate. They removed the fantasy and sci-fi sections, added a bunch of 'brand storytelling' templates, and now you have to pay $8 a month to post your own ideas. It happened literally overnight after they were bought by some marketing firm. My main source of ideas for short stories is basically gone. Has anyone else had their favorite prompt site ruined like this?

Ugh that's the worst! I had my go-to free photo site get bought out last year. They locked all the good pictures behind a paywall and filled the free section with ads for stock photo subscriptions. It's so frustrating when a chill creative space turns into a money grab overnight. I feel your pain, my writing buddy used that prompt site too and she's totally bummed.

My favorite free vector site did the same thing last year, @hannaho52. Went from a huge free library to basically just a demo for their paid plan. It's such a gut punch when you lose a good resource.
