Found out that in Japan it's considered rude to pour your own drink at a dinner table

I was reading an article on Japan Talk last night and learned that you're supposed to refill other people's glasses instead of your own. Has anyone else run into this rule while traveling or hosting guests?

Oh man, I'd be so bad at that (I can barely pour my own drink without spilling it).
