I finally stopped shaming my sister for her kid's screen time

My sister's a single mom in Houston and her 4 year old watches iPad for like 6 hours on her days off. I used to lecture her every time. Then she told me it's that or she loses her mind completely. Now I just bring snacks and shut up. Anyone else get humbled by a parent's reality?

Yeah my friend Brenda felt real bad about judging until she tried watching her nephew for one afternoon.

And Brenda probably lasted about two hours before she was reaching for the TV remote herself. There's nothing like a real taste of parenting to shut down all that judgement real quick.
