Why does nobody talk about how weddings can tear families apart?

Honestly, I changed my mind about big weddings after my cousin's blew up last month in Chicago. The bride's mom and groom's dad got into a screaming match over seating arrangements and now half the family isn't speaking to each other. Has anyone else seen a wedding cause serious drama like that?

Eloping's the smart play. You sidestep all the family drama and spend the money on a good honeymoon instead of feeding 150 people.
