Rant: I was dead set against spray foam insulation until my electric bill came in 40% lower after that first January freeze
What finally convinced me was standing in my new shop in January 2023 watching the meter barely move while my neighbor's place was sucking down power like crazy, has anyone else had a builder talk them into something they thought was a waste?.

Oh man, that's the kind of thing that makes you realize some upgrades are worth the hassle. It's funny how we fight certain changes until we see the hard numbers, then suddenly it just clicks.

Saw your post and yeah, you kinda nailed it. I used to think those upgrades were just a waste of time, but after seeing the numbers in my own setup I finally get why people make the switch.
