Warning: my framer buddy in Spokane called my $14k change order 'the cheapest lesson you'll ever pay for'
I was dead set on 10 foot ceilings everywhere in our build until the truss quote came back $14k over budget and my framer asked why we needed that much air above a laundry room. We dropped to 9 foot in the halls and back rooms, kept 10 in the living space, and the house feels bigger than the plan we fell in love with. Anyone else cut ceiling height on part of their build and regret it or love it?
