Caught a phishing email before my whole team clicked it yesterday

I was looking at an invoice attachment that looked exactly like our vendor's logo, but the font was slightly off. Ran it through VirusTotal and it flagged three malware hits in under 30 seconds. Anyone else gotten fake invoices that are eerily close to the real thing?

Man oh man, this hits close to home! My buddy Mike got nailed with one of those fake invoices last month, and it looked SO legit I almost forwarded it to him myself. The logo was spot on, the footer had the real address, even the email domain was one letter off from the actual vendor. He caught it because the PDF file size was way too small for a real invoice with all the usual graphics. VirusTotal saved his butt too, flagged three nasty things trying to download in the background. He told me it took him like two hours to scrub his machine and change all his passwords. Scary how good these scammers are getting with the details.
