Remember when a password manager felt like overkill?
I dropped about $40 a year on one a while back, thinking it was a silly cost for something my browser did for free. Then my old email got popped in a breach and they tried my reused password everywhere... that manager saved my bacon by giving every account a different, crazy strong key. It felt like a luxury buy at the time, but now I wouldn't go a day without it. Anyone have a favorite method for getting family to actually use one?

Tell that to @martin.vera after his email gets popped.

Ugh I get the hype but is it REALLY that big of a deal for most people? My browser saves my stuff and I've never had a problem. Feels like making a mountain out of a molehill unless you're some big target. I just change my main password if I hear about a breach. Trying to get the whole family on board sounds like a huge pain for what might be a tiny bit of extra safety.
