Switched from LastPass to Bitwarden last month and it is way simpler
I was paying $36 a year for LastPass and got tired of the constant breach news. Moved all my passwords over to Bitwarden in like 20 minutes, and the free tier does everything I need. Anyone else make the jump and notice a difference?

Oh man, I saw somewhere that LastPass had like four or five separate security incidents in the last couple years. That's crazy for a password manager that you're actually paying for. I figure if a free option is less of a headache, why wouldn't you switch.

I switched away from LastPass after the second breach and it was honestly the best decision I made for my passwords. Bitwarden is free and open source, so you can actually see what they're doing with your data instead of just trusting them. The migration took maybe 20 minutes to export everything and import it into the new manager. Haven't looked back since, and I sleep way better knowing my stuff isn't sitting in a company that keeps getting hacked.
