The gap between my first DeviantArt upload and now is wild to look back on
I dug up my first digital painting from 2016 the other day, a messy fan art of a dragon that took me like 8 hours in a free program. Compare that to last month, I finished a portrait commission in 5 hours using Procreate on my iPad and it blew away anything I made 8 years ago. What did it honestly was learning to use layers and just doing quick studies every weekend instead of obsessing over one piece. Has anyone else gone back and redrawn or repainted an old file to see the jump in their skills?
