Yesterday I accidentally deleted my entire digital art folder and had a panic attack
I spent like 4 hours on a portrait in Procreate and went to clean up some old files. I must have hit the wrong folder because suddenly everything was gone. I tried to undo it and even checked my trash but nope, nothing. My backup was from 3 weeks ago so I lost a bunch of commissions. Has anyone else had a close call like this and found a way to recover stuff on an iPad?

Swear I felt the same way when I dropped my phone in a puddle and lost a year's worth of photos.

That sinking feeling when your whole digital life just vanishes... oh man. At least if I lose my lunch it only stinks for a day instead of haunting me forever. Guess we both learned the hard way that phones and water don't mix.
