Spent $500 on a pair of monitors I found on Facebook Marketplace
Guy said they were barely used. Got them home and one speaker crackles like crazy on low end. Has anyone else had luck fixing that or am I just out the cash?

Used to roll my eyes at people who said never buy speakers without hearing them first, but last week a pair of Adam T5Vs did the same thing to me and now I get it. Try reseating the speaker wire or checking the amp connection before you give up on them.

Reseating the speaker wire" on a pair of Adams? That hurts to read, @olivers28. I can't believe a studio monitor at that price point would have a basic connection issue like that. Makes me nervous about the build quality on those things.
