That $40 spray foam kit turned my attic into a disaster zone
Bought a cheap DIY closed-cell foam kit online, and it expanded so much it pushed my ridge vent right off the roof. Has anyone else had a simple insulating project backfire this badly?

Cut it flush with a bread knife before it cures harder than concrete.

Yeah @knight.diana, I tried cutting one with a regular kitchen knife once and it chipped halfway through. Now I just keep a spare bread knife in my toolbox for stuff like this. Nothing like ruining a good sandwich knife for the sake of a dried out glob of epoxy.
