My contractor buddy told me my tile layout was amateur hour because I didn't stagger the joints, and he was totally right.

Well, at least your floor will crack in a nice, neat line. @linda658 is right, that's a real headache.

How much of a pain is it to fix now? If it's a small floor, you could live with it. For a big wall or floor, the lack of stagger can actually make the tile more likely to crack along those straight lines.
