A senior drafter told me my weld callouts were a mess

I was working on a steel frame drawing for a factory in Toledo, and a guy with 20 years in the shop looked at my sheet. He said, 'Kid, your weld symbols are all over the place, the fitters will hate you.' I went back and re-learned the AWS standard from a book I had. Now I use a strict template for every callout, and my shop drawings get approved way faster. Anyone else have a basic standard they got wrong for a long time?

Yeah @cole_lee9 I'd agree, used to think templates were overkill but now I swear by them.
