Changed my mind about digital drafting after a shop floor disaster

I was dead set against going paperless until last month when a muddy print on a job site cost me 4 hours of rework. Now I keep everything in Bluebeam on a ruggedized tablet and my error rate dropped way off. Anyone else make the switch and not look back?

Is a muddy print really worth switching your whole workflow up though? I get that rework sucks but four hours sounds like you could've just been more careful with paper copies. I've seen people blame the tools when really it's just bad habits catching up with them. Bluebeam isn't gonna save you if you're still making sloppy measurements or missing callouts.

Four hours of rework? Man, @sage_morgan75 that just hurts to read. I'm with you on bad habits being a thing but I've seen one misread dim cause a whole steel beam to get ordered wrong. Paper copies are fine until someone sneezes and you lose your place.
