Finally stopped fighting my old CAD software's weird hatch settings

For years I'd manually adjust every single hatch scale in AutoCAD, which was a huge time sink on big plans. I finally sat down and made a custom hatch pattern library last month, and it's cut my detailing time by at least a third on every job since. Anyone have a good method for managing custom linetypes across different project files?

Ever try to make a custom linetype that just would NOT scale right?

Oh man, custom hatches are a lifesaver. For linetypes, I just keep a master drawing file with all my custom ones and insert it into new projects.

That's a solid system, @the_finley. Having that master file is key for keeping things consistent across the whole team. It just saves so much time hunting for the right line later.
