Tried that new drafting software from Autodesk last week and it crashed on me 5 times in one afternoon

I downloaded the latest beta for AutoCAD 2025 thinking it would save me time on a big floor plan for a job in Phoenix. But it kept freezing every time I tried to hatch a simple area, lost my work twice. Learned to wait for the first major patch before jumping on new versions now. Anyone else have trouble with new releases crashing on their setups?

Used to swear by day-one upgrades" - same here man. I remember buying the iPhone 3G on launch day and thinking I was so cool. Now I just wait and read the stupid battery drain threads first before pulling the trigger.

Man @hayden587 I heard some reviewer say this year's model feels basically the same as last year's lol.
