Switched to a cheap $10 mud pan and actually like it more than my $50 one

I always thought spending more meant better results but after 3 jobs with the cheap pan I noticed it's lighter and cleans up faster, anyone else find cheaper gear works better sometimes?

Totally agree, lighter pans are easier on the wrist after a long day.

Read somewhere that wrist fatigue actually comes more from gripping too tight than pan weight alone. Good grip technique makes a bigger difference than most people realize.

Is it just me or does this show up in everything we do... like even driving my car if I death grip the steering wheel my shoulders hurt way worse than if I just relax my hands. @iris_rivera44 you ever notice how when you're really tired you grip everything harder without thinking about it? I started paying attention to my grip on my phone too and realized I was holding it like a vice.
