Thinking back on drywall glue methods from my early years

We used to scoop glue from buckets with a trowel, and it got everywhere. These days, the tube systems keep everything neat and controlled. It's a small change, but it makes the whole job feel more professional. Sometimes I think about how much cleaner my van stays now.

Honestly, I was totally against switching to tubes for the longest time. I mean, I figured if the bucket method worked for years, why bother changing anything? But after helping on a job that used the new system, it totally changed my mind. The difference in cleanup is huge, and my clothes don't get ruined anymore. It just makes the whole day less of a hassle, you know?

See, @sarahm19 I get where you're coming from, but I still keep a couple buckets around for smaller jobs. The tubes are great for big stuff, sure, but they feel like overkill sometimes and they're not exactly cheap. Idk, maybe it's just me but I still find a bucket is faster to grab and mix in for a quick patch. It hasn't totally won me over yet.
