Snow clearing fail on my block last week

The city plow came down my street Tuesday night and buried my driveway with a 3 foot wall of hard-packed snow. My neighbor's kid tried to help with his little single-stage blower and it just bounced off. I spent 45 minutes with a breaking bar and a shovel just to get the car out. Has anyone found a decent plow service in Edmonton that actually shows up before the city scrapes?

Buddy of mine had to chip his whole driveway out by hand last year.
