Stopped by an old hardware store in rural Pennsylvania and saw they still sell knob and tube replacements new in box

Curious if the boxes actually had any kind of manufacturing date on them, or were they just sitting there looking all dusty and untouched for decades? I bet they're still perfectly fine wire if they were stored dry, but the old cloth insulation might be pretty brittle by now. What brand were they? I've stumbled across old Bryant or General Electric stuff in places like that before, but it's usually just loose wire, not full replacement kits still in the box.

Found an old box of Bryant wire in my uncle's barn once, @wren_carr, and the cloth was still in good shape after sixty years of dry storage.
