Shoutout to the Milwaukee shop that rebuilt my old 1/2 inch drive impact for free

Got it back yesterday and the torque is way better than my newer model, feels like it did 15 years ago. Anyone have a favorite tool they keep fixing instead of replacing?

Love hearing about shops that still do that kind of work. My dad's old corded drill finally gave out last year, but we rebuilt the switch twice before that. Some things just have better guts than the new stuff.

Nice! That old steel is just tougher. I've got an old bench grinder that's on its third set of bearings, but it'll outlive me for sure.
