A friend in Hong Kong had his messaging app blocked for a week last month
He uses an app to talk with his family back home, and it just stopped working. He found out the local network had blocked it without any warning. He had to find a different app with better encryption to get back in touch. It made me think how fast a normal talk can be cut off. Has anyone else seen a sudden block like this where they live?

Wow, that's scary. Makes you wonder what ELSE they can just switch off overnight.
