My steamer's heating element gave out in the middle of a facial yesterday, so I had to improvise with hot towels and a facial mist for the rest of the treatment.

Has anyone found a reliable brand for replacement parts, or should I just invest in a whole new unit?

Ever check the warranty first?

Yeah, I always do now after @hugo236 mentioned it, saved me a ton of cash last time.

Wait, your heating element just died in the middle of a facial? That's brutal. I'd be so frustrated if that happened to me. Before you buy anything new though, @hugo236 is probably right about checking the warranty. A lot of these steamer brands have a one year warranty on heating parts, so you could be wasting money if you don't look first. I'd call the manufacturer's customer service line and ask them directly about replacement parts. Some brands will sell you just the heating element for like 20 bucks instead of you having to buy a whole new steamer.
