Actually, patches usually break more than they fix for me. Last update bricked my workspace for a full day. Never trust a smooth launch.

Totally feel that, and wendy_bell33 is spot on about the fake "critical" label. It's like they push these patches without real world testing. My audio driver update last week completely killed my mic input, had to roll back three versions. Then the "fix" for that broke Bluetooth. It creates this awful cycle where you're just fixing the fixes.

Right? This hits so close to home. My own program had a "critical" update last month that made the whole thing freeze every five minutes. Spent more time watching that stupid spinning wheel than doing any actual work. It honestly felt like the patch was designed to test my patience, not fix a single thing. You learn to dread those update notifications after a while.
