Tried adding a hidden pocket to a jacket and it turned out way better than I thought
Honestly, I was just messing around with an old denim jacket last month. I sewed a small zipper pocket into the inside of the front placket, right near the chest. I figured it would be a good spot for a key or a card, but it ended up holding my whole phone without making the jacket look bulky at all. I've been using it for about three weeks now and it's become my favorite feature. Ngl, I learned that sometimes the best design ideas are the simple, hidden ones you actually use every day. Has anyone else tried adding a hidden pocket somewhere unexpected?

My sewing skills usually end with me stapling things.

Honestly that's a whole mood right there lol. My last attempt at sewing a button ended with super glue and a lot of regret. Thread and needles just seem to have it out for some of us. Staples at least get the job done in a pinch, even if it's not pretty. Solidarity from a fellow crafting disaster.

Fabric glue saved me after I quilted my finger to a pillowcase.
