Found a weird fix for that annoying hollow spot under LVP in a Phoenix condo

Tried injecting a mix of wood glue and fine sawdust through a tiny hole I drilled, let it cure overnight under weight. Has anyone else patched a subfloor void without a full tear-up?

That hollow spot is probably not even a big deal.

Honestly, saying it's "probably not even a big deal" feels like a huge assumption. How do we know that hollow spot isn't a sign of a deeper problem? Tbh, ignoring stuff like that is how small issues turn into major failures later. I've seen things that looked minor cause real damage when they weren't checked out. It's worth taking seriously instead of just brushing it off.

Oh for REAL, that injection fix is actually genius if you got it to set right! I think eric_hayes makes a good point though, even a small hollow spot CAN indicate moisture issues underneath or shifting subfloor that gets worse over time. Might be worth checking if the hollow spot is near any pipes or concrete cracks before you call it done.
