I finally switched from a 4-inch roller to a 3-inch for LVP glue down

For years I used the bigger roller on every job, thinking it was faster to spread the adhesive. After a messy install in a Phoenix condo last month where I kept hitting the walls, I tried the smaller one and the control is just way better. Anyone else make a simple tool switch that fixed a dumb problem?

Honestly, that sounds like a you problem, not a tool problem. If you're hitting walls with a 4-inch roller, you were probably just rushing or not paying attention. The bigger roller covers more ground, so it's still the right choice for most floors.

Fixed a dumb problem" is a bit much lol. Its just a roller size, not brain surgery. You were hitting walls in a condo, that sounds like a tight space problem more than a tool problem. I bet the big roller is still fine for open areas.
