Maybe it's just me, but I'm starting to think the 'no floral foam' rule is getting a bit extreme

Last week, a bride in Seattle insisted on a completely foam-free arch for her wedding, so we spent 4 hours building a water-tube grid that leaked anyway, and I can't help but feel a small, hidden block of Oasis would have saved the design and my sanity.

Yeah that "completely foam-free" thing is wild. I saw a florist on Instagram who had to make a huge hanging piece and ended up using like fifty individual water picks, it looked like a science project. Sometimes the eco-friendly alternative just creates more waste and stress.

Ugh, that sounds like a total nightmare to put together. I get the push for no foam, but fifty water picks for one piece is just swapping one type of plastic waste for another. It feels like the "green" option sometimes misses the bigger picture of actual waste.
