Showerthought: A bride's mom told me my bouquets looked 'too perfect' back in 2019, and I realized I was over-trimming everything.
Now I leave a bit more natural stem and foliage on my pieces, which clients in Portland seem to love for that garden-picked feel, so has anyone else gotten a piece of feedback that flipped a switch for them?

That's a great point, and I see what @ruby_anderson means too.

Tossing pieces in from a few feet away" sounds like a great way to waste good flowers, honestly.

Ever get that one comment that makes you totally rethink your whole process? I had a client say my arrangements looked "staged" once, and it hit me that I was trying too hard to control every little leaf. Now I literally toss some pieces in from a few feet away and leave them where they land, adds way better movement. That messy, natural vibe is what people are paying for these days.
