Just finished my 500th piece, a walnut dresser I spent three months on, and the number felt way bigger than I expected.

It hit me that I've actually built a career out of this, not just a hobby, so what was the piece that made you feel like a real finisher?

Honestly, that "real finisher" feeling is overrated. The first piece you sell for actual money is the only milestone that matters.

My first sale was for like 20 bucks to my cousin, tara_williams1. I mean, it felt good to get paid, but finishing a tough piece still gives me that weird happy-sad feeling. Maybe it's just me but they're both big deals.

Real finisher" is overrated, but @tara_williams1, that 500th piece feeling is something else.
