Got a 30 day mute on a food sub for saying my lasagna recipe was better than the OP's

I know, I know, it sounds silly but hear me out. Last Thursday I commented on a post where someone shared their 'perfect' lasagna with a pic and the recipe. I said something like 'looks good but try adding a pinch of nutmeg next time, makes a huge difference'. Within an hour I got a message saying I was muted for 30 days for 'recipe shaming'. The mod said my comment was negative and uninvited. I was genuinely trying to be helpful. Has anyone else gotten dinged for just giving a friendly tip?

I just apologized and said I meant no harm, that usually works for me.

Wait, so they think you're out here waging a secret nutmeg war on the pasta subs? I once got a three day ban for telling someone their chili was basically just bean soup, so I guess I'm the real criminal here.
