A neighbor's 3 minute rant changed how I track suppressed local news

I used to just scroll Twitter for underground news about city council decisions. But a guy at my local dive bar spent 20 minutes telling me I was missing half the story. He said tools like Teleparty let people watch and annotate livestreamed meetings together in real time, catching edits and deletions. Now I join a group of 12 folks every Tuesday night to watch our town's planning board sessions. We screenshot every slide and compare notes, and we caught them hiding a zoning change back in March. Has anyone else used group viewing to fact check local officials on the fly?

Have you always been able to catch stuff like that by watching together? I used to think solo watching was enough but this sounds way better.
