Watched a creator I followed since 500 subs hit 1 million last week

Back in 2019 I found this small channel reviewing budget audio gear, maybe 500 subscribers and the guy was filming in his bedroom closet. Last Wednesday he posted a video from a rented studio with proper lighting and a whole team behind him, crossing 1 million subs that same day. It's wild seeing that growth happen in real time over 3 years, but does anyone else feel a little bummed when a channel you liked for its raw feel gets all polished and corporate?

It's just a YouTube channel, not like they sold out your local record store or something.
