inVent: Finding stuff without plastic feels like a scavenger hunt now
That bit about bananas in a bag @finley_rivera67 is so true, but is it really a huge deal? I get the want to cut waste, but sometimes that plastic keeps stuff fresh longer so we toss less food. The sticker on a lemon or a cucumber wrap just seems like such a small part of the bigger trash problem.

inKeeping a water bottle in my apron stopped my afternoon crashes
Notice you're right about the water, but if you're sweating a lot near the furnaces, you might be losing salts too. Plain water can sometimes flush out what little you have left. I saw a guy at my old shop drink water all day but still get weak until he ate some pretzels. Might be worth having a salty snack with your water, or one of those cheap sports drink mixes. Just a thought.

inWarning: My backyard painting session turned into a splash zone disaster
I just use a frisbee with some water in it, works surprisingly well.

inEveryone's swapping stories about their best slow cooker recipes for post shift.
Seriously tho, the best part of a slow cooker stew is how the wait makes you enjoy it more. It's not like slapping a pizza in the oven. That smell building for hours turns the whole place into a waiting room for dinner, and even the quiet bubbling sound is just comforting. Makes the first bite feel earned, like a tiny reward for being patient all day.

inMy cousin and I disagree. He says put our trip money in stocks, I say go on the trip. What's your take for beginners?
Wait but what if the trip changes how you work? My cousin went to Bangkok and came back so much better at handling stress and weird problems. That stuff makes you better at your job, which means raises or new chances. It's not just a vacation, it's like skills training you can't get at home.
