inMy dovetail joints keep coming loose in dry weather.
But I always hear that... and it just seems like an easy out. Wood movement is natural, but loose dovetails mean the initial fit was off. If you cut them right, they lock together through the seasons. My shop is bone dry in winter and everything stays put. Blaming the weather ignores the real issue with how the joints are made. Maybe the problem is rushing the fitting process instead.

inOn our site, we're divided over adding accelerant to the mix.
Wait, the real kicker is how it messes with the crew's schedule later. Rush a cure now and you'll need way more skilled labor later for fixes, blowing the budget anyway.

inMy crew argues over the right way to tackle soft ground.
Stopping lets you see where the ground is actually firm before moving. A quick pause can prevent getting stuck worse later on. Isn't it smarter to avoid the mess instead of charging into it?
