Keeping a water bottle in my apron stopped my afternoon crashes
I used to get so tired after lunch that I'd make dumb mistakes with the molds. Then I read that dehydration can hit you hard in hot places like our foundry. Now I always have a full water bottle in my apron pocket and take sips between tasks. It sounds small, but I haven't had that fuzzy feeling in my head for weeks. My focus is better, and I don't drag through the last hours of my shift. Maybe it could help you too if you work near the furnaces all day.
