I finally looked up how much energy my air fryer really uses

I was just curious after my last power bill, so I googled it. Found a study from the University of Colorado that tested a bunch of kitchen gadgets. Turns out my Cosori air fryer uses about 1,500 watts, which is way less than my big oven. I ran it for 20 minutes to make fries yesterday and it cost like 5 cents. Anyone else surprised by how cheap these things are to run?

Five cents for fries? At that rate, I could almost justify eating them every night. My oven would probably charge me a lecture about my life choices for the same meal.
