Learned the hard way that buying a $60 torque wrench from harbor freight is a gamble
Had to redo a spark plug replacement on a Cessna 172 after my cheap wrench clicked at 20 instead of 25 ft-lbs, cost me an extra 3 hours and a new gasket - anyone else had a budget tool fail at the worst time?

Wait, you used a Harbor Freight torque wrench on a plane?

Honestly, people act like a plane is made of eggshells. Harbor Freight tools aren't THAT bad, they're just not precision instruments for NASA. As long as you check the torque with another wrench it's probably fine for non-critical stuff.
