That week in June near Denali when the weather flipped every 30 minutes

I was camping out by the Denali Highway last June, hoping for a solid week of hiking. First two days were perfect, clear skies, no wind. Then Wednesday hit and we got rain, then hail, then sun, then fog, all within an hour. I had to set up and tear down my tent three times in one afternoon just to keep my gear dry. Has anyone else dealt with that kind of rapid weather change up there or was it just a weird year?

Dude that sounds brutal! I feel your pain, weather up there can be wild like that. Had something similar near Talkeetna a few years back and it was honestly exhausting.

Ever tried just using a tarp instead of a full tent?
