PSA: I compared two ways to watch a new show and the winner was obvious

I watched the first episode of 'Frieren' on a free site with a ton of pop-up ads, then watched the second on a paid service. The picture was way clearer and the subtitles didn't have weird grammar. Anyone else find a specific show where the viewing method totally changed your opinion of it?

Saw a review that said the official release of Pluto fixed the audio mixing issues from the fan subs.

Remember my friend tried to watch that show Arcane on a sketchy stream. She kept complaining the dark scenes were just a blurry mess and she couldn't follow the fight at all. She thought the show was just okay until I made her come over and watch an episode on my decent setup. She was totally shocked by all the detail she had missed, like the background art and character expressions. It completely flipped her opinion from meh to loving it.
