Back in the day I thought tree injection systems were just a gimmick
Honestly, when I first saw the Arborjet system about 8 years ago, I figured it was just a fancy way to charge more. My old crew in Tacoma swore by soil drenches and sprays. Then we had a row of 30 year old maples with a bad case of verticillium wilt, and the soil treatments did nothing. We did a trunk injection as a last resort, and within 3 months you could see the new growth coming in clean. Has anyone else had a pest or disease where injection was the only thing that finally worked?

Guess your trees just needed a shot instead of a bath.

A shot, huh? You might be onto something, @burns.ruby. My watering can clearly wasn't cutting it, but I'm not sure whiskey is the recommended fertilizer. Guess my green thumb is more of a brown thumb.

Wait, you had a whole row of thirty year old maples? That's a huge job to save. I mean, I've seen injections work on single trees before, but turning around a whole line of them that old is wild.
