Just realized those tree growth regulators actually work...

I always thought those trunk injection treatments were just a gimmick to sell more chemicals. Then a client in Portland insisted we try it on a huge maple that was lifting their driveway. We did the injections in early spring and checked it again last week... the root growth slowed down a ton and the tree looks just as healthy. Has anyone else had a good result with a specific brand, like Arborsystems or something else?

Guess the tree finally got the memo about property lines. Always figured those injections were basically expensive tree vitamins, but your maple actually listened. Nature taking a hint from us for once.

Nature taking a hint" is a good way to put it. I see this a lot, like when you stop feeding stray cats and they slowly stop coming to your porch. Or how a plant you move away from a window will start leaning toward the light again. It's not really listening, but it's reacting to the new rules we set. We're always drawing these lines and changing the game, and then acting surprised when things adapt. Makes you wonder who's really training who.
