Swapped my flip line for a lanyard adjuster last month after 12 years of knots

I finally got sick of tying and retying my flip line on every single tree in Nashville. Picked up a mechanical adjuster from a buddy at a demo and honestly it's way faster for positioning. Not saying knots are bad, they still have their place, but for production work I'm not going back. Has anyone else made the switch or are you still running rope on rope?

My buddy tried one and it slipped off a wet limb, sent him right to the ground.

Read a review online where a guy tested those things on wet bark and they failed like 4 out of 5 times. The rubber coating they use just doesn't grip on slick surfaces at all. I guess they're fine for dry days but you're basically asking for trouble if there's any moisture around.
